In one of my previous articles, I mentioned that a great way how to naturally expose your child to a foreign language is to set up a playgroup. A simple get-together with like-minded mums and their children where you can enjoy some time together and let your children soak in some of the language through playing and interacting with one another.
Our playgroup sessions consist of two parts: a free play when we let our children play and explore on their own while we are chitchatting in English, and an organized play. For each playgroup session we prepare some rhymes and songs with movement and a story reading followed by crafts.
